About Camber Credit

Camber Credit is a New York–based vertically integrated investment and asset management platform that provides institutional investors with access to short-duration, asset-backed credit strategies in the auto finance sector.

The firm is seeking a high-performing early-career professional to join the team and work directly with the firm’s founders and senior leadership across every dimension of a scaling investment platform. This is a broad role suited to a candidate who is intellectually versatile, operationally rigorous, and capable of moving quickly between projects of different character and depth.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary and a merit-based bonus structure with meaningful upside tied to firm performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with investor relations and capital-raising activities, including materials preparation, investor reporting, and pipeline tracking.
  • Support the oversight and servicing of the firm’s auto loan and lease portfolios, including performance monitoring, servicer management, and portfolio reporting.
  • Build and maintain reporting, data, and analytical workflows across the firm.
  • Contribute to firm operations, including process design, vendor management, and internal systems.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects across the business at the direction of senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record in a rigorous course of study.
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, structured finance, financial services operations, or comparable roles.
  • Demonstrated interest in credit, investing, or financial markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling.
  • High proficiency with large language models and AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and a demonstrated ability to apply them effectively to research, analysis, and workflow tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort operating in a lean, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-directed learning and independent problem-solving.
  • Sound judgment, intellectual honesty, and a high standard for the quality of one’s own work.

  • Base salary range of $90,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience.
